Scott collection

Collection of medium format black and white negatives from the commercial studio of Ernest Scott (Allison Studios, Armagh). Dating between 1950 and 1978 the images represent the daily work of Scott's studio, including weddings, studio portraits, events, commercial photography from the Armagh area but also some for the rest of Northern Ireland and beyond. This extensive collection contains over 300,000 negatives held in Armagh County Museum.

Museum opening hours Mon - Sat 10am to 4pm. Because the collection is entirely negatives it is not usually accessible but is being digitised.
