Family Album, Close to Home: Co-producing Multigenerational Narratives of Polish Resettlement in the UK
Recording of an online talk by PhD student Rio Creech (Dec 2022) who shared their experience using private family photographs - including those sourced from their grandparents' albums - as the basis for an exhibition that spotlighted the stories of Polish refugees placed in Grove Park resettlement camp after the Second World War. Rio's talk explored how we can use photographs to bring together and connect the dots between the diverse experiences of diasporic people living in Britain across multiple generations.
